Data Protection Notice
To be able to participate in the event and matchmaking sessions organised jointly by GET.invest and partners, you must provide personal data to create a business profile. Matchmaking sessions are one-on-one breakout sessions between participants who have created a profile and have scheduled a matchmaking session as part of the conference, based on their profile.
The organiser and its data processors will manage your data in compliance with European GDPR. The information you are asked to complete is necessary to organise the event you will be attending, to confirm your registration by e-mail, to create your profile with which you can be chosen and chose to engage in matchmaking sessions with other participants, and to allow you to modify your registration. Without a registered profile, it is not possible to participate to the matchmaking sessions. By registering your profile, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose described herein. Your published profile on the b2match platform can only be seen by other participants who have been invited to the event and have accepted to publish their profile as well.
Your data will also be processed by the organiser and the data processors upon its legitimate interest: to conduct a post-evaluation after the event by e-mail or phone call, and to obtain general analytics about events implemented by the organiser. The data processors may use randomly selected phone numbers to conduct post-event evaluations to help improve the service. Your phone number will not be used for any other purpose. You are entitled to object to these processing operations. If you do not wish to be randomly contacted by phone, please send an email to email@example.com. Your data will be stored until 30 September 2021.
You can obtain written communication of your data from the organiser, as well as rectification, restriction of processing, and erasure, and where appropriate, portability of your data by emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For further information or to lodge a complaint you may contact the data protection officer of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 32 + 36, 53113 Bonn, email@example.com, as well as the supervisory authority of the country of your habitual residence.
